Every scrape or crawled page costs 1 credit as a base charge. If your prompt or schema triggers AI extraction, the tokens that extraction actually uses are added on top, priced per token, not per page. Solving a CAPTCHA adds 5 credits, and only when a real solve happens. Search costs 1 credit per 10 results returned, per source you request (web, news, images, videos, research, developer) -- a source that comes back empty costs nothing. Browser actions like clicking, typing, and scrolling never cost anything extra. Proxy and Stealth Mode aren't billed in credits at all, they draw from a separate monthly bandwidth allowance instead.

You can buy a credit top-up anytime without changing your plan, or upgrade to a higher tier if you're consistently hitting your limit. Top-up credits stay on your account for 12 months and carry over between billing cycles. Your plan's included monthly credits reset each cycle and don't carry over, so a top-up is the right move if you expect to need the extra room again.

Not directly. Credit and proxy bandwidth top-ups are only available on Starter, Builder, and Pro. If you're on the Free plan, you'll need to upgrade first, then top-ups become available from the same Billing page. This isn't a hard sell, the Free plan's 300 one-time credits are enough for most people testing Spidra out, top-ups exist for accounts already running real, ongoing volume.

Yes, all from the Billing page in your dashboard. Upgrading takes effect immediately through Stripe checkout. Downgrading or cancelling keeps your current plan and credits active until the end of your billing cycle, your account only moves to the lower plan (or back to Free) at renewal. If you cancel and change your mind, you can reactivate before the cycle ends with no data lost and no extra charge.

Your subscription moves to Past Due and Stripe automatically retries the charge over the following days. You keep full access while it retries, nothing is cut off immediately. If every retry fails, your account reverts to the Free plan. Updating your card from the Billing page at any point during this window keeps your plan active.

No. Spidra automatically routes requests through a residential proxy network and solves CAPTCHAs in real time as part of every job, no separate subscription or setup. Proxy usage is billed against its own bandwidth allowance, and a CAPTCHA only adds credits on an actual solve, so you're never paying for infrastructure you didn't use.
