LinkedIn Scraper API
public jobs, companies and profiles

Send a public LinkedIn link and get the page back as data: a job search, a job posting, a company page, a public profile, a post or an article. Spidra reads LinkedIn as a visitor who isn't signed in, and never uses your account.

One call, every field

Point the scrape call at a LinkedIn link. With JSON output and no prompt, the data comes back as it is, for 1 credit and no AI cost.

Ask for markdown instead and you get the readable page as text. The structured data still comes back, in its own structuredData field next to the markdown.

Company pages with numbers you can sort

Follower counts come back as integers, not "29M followers". The size band, headquarters and organization type are separate fields, and the address is split into street, city, region, postal code and country.

employeesOnLinkedIn is the number of members who list the company on their profile. It is a useful signal for growth, but it isn't the company's own headcount.

Logged out, on purpose

Spidra never signs in to LinkedIn and never sends cookies you pass along with a LinkedIn link. It reads what LinkedIn shows any visitor who isn't signed in, which covers job searches, postings, company pages, public posts, articles and the public part of profiles.

Pages LinkedIn keeps for members, like people search or a company's People tab, are refused straight away with a message explaining why. You aren't charged for them.

  • No LinkedIn account on Spidra's side and none needed on yours
  • Signed-in pages fail fast and free, so a batch never stalls on them
  • Profiles show what LinkedIn shows visitors. Since November 2025 the full work history is for signed-in members only

Recent posts come with the company

A company page includes its latest posts with the text, a link to each post, the time it went out and the like count. Send a post link on its own to get its comments and media too.

That is enough to track what a company announces and how its audience responds, without a separate call per post.

Ask for the columns you want

Describe the answer as a prompt, a JSON schema or both, and it comes back in that shape. The AI reads a compact copy of the data Spidra already read, not the whole page.

Request
const result = await spidra.scrape({
urls: [{ url: "https://www.linkedin.com/company/stripe/" }],
prompt: "Extract the company summary.",
schema: {

"industry": "Technology, Information and Internet",
"employees": "5,001-10,000 employees",

This request cost 2 credits on October 18, 2026: 1 for the page plus the AI tokens. For the data as it is, use JSON output with no prompt for 1 credit.

What teams build with it

Public LinkedIn data feeds hiring, sales and market research.

How Spidra compares

LinkedIn data is sold several ways: per record, per actor, or per request. Here is how the public-data options differ.

Choose Bright Data or an Apify actor if

You want the lowest price per record, keyword job discovery without building search links, or bulk datasets stored over time.

Choose Spidra if

You want the pages a signed-out visitor sees as typed JSON, signed-in pages refused instead of worked around, and LinkedIn plus any other website through one API.

Competitor prices and features are as published on their own pages on October 17, 2026 and may have changed. Spidra prices use 1 credit per page on each plan. Sources: Bright Data, Bright Data (profile change), Apify (HarvestAPI), Apify (jobs), ScrapingDog.

What to know before you build

We would rather you hear the limits from us than find them in production.

  • Logged out only. Pages LinkedIn shows only to signed-in members (people search, a company's People tab, full profile details, the feed, messaging, Sales Navigator) are refused free, and Spidra never uses your LinkedIn account or cookies.
  • Public profiles show current roles, education and part of the experience history. Since November 2025 LinkedIn shows the full history only to signed-in members, and entries it masks come back with "masked": true.
  • A job search returns 60 jobs on the first page and 10 per page after that. LinkedIn shows visitors at most 1,000 results per search, so split big searches by location, keyword or date.
  • School pages and some profiles are often refused to visitors. Those requests fail with a message and cost nothing. LinkedIn answers a missing profile and a refused one the same way, so the message can't say which it was.
  • Pay appears only when the employer shows it in LinkedIn's pay field: about 1 in 5 postings in a 20-posting test run.
  • Profiles, posts and comments contain personal data. Handle it according to the privacy laws that apply to you, such as GDPR, which covers personal data even when it is public.

LinkedIn

LinkedIn's official APIs work through member sign-in and partner programs for marketing, talent and sales. They need LinkedIn's approval, have no public price list, and aren't a general feed of public company, job or profile data. Spidra reads the public pages instead, for 1 credit each.

Send a LinkedIn link and see what comes back.

Get 300 free credits, no card, and run your first job search or company page from the dashboard or the API.
